I am 27 years old and im looking to secure a semi-professional contract in australia, preferably Perth, Melbourne or Sydney.I am happy to pay for flights and would appreciate some help finding accomodation and work but all details are negotiable.Ideally i would like to come over December/January but i am flexible on the dates if it means securing a club to play for. I am an experienced semi-pro footballer in england.From the age of 18 to 24 i have played over 100 games for Rossendale united in the Unibond league and over 100 games for Ramsbottom United in the vodkat Northwest Counties league. From the age of 24 upto 27 i had to drop down a few leagues due to work commitments - I couldnt make every training session and also the travelling was putting a strain on my work. I moved to Haslingden in the West Lancashire Premier Division where I played for 3 seasons. This was also semi pro and during this time I captained the team to its highest ever league position and lifted the league cup which the team had never achieved. This season i have signed for Barnoldswick Town in the Vodkat North West Counties. I had offers from Rossendale, Colne and Ramsbottom but relished the challenge of trying to gain promotion with Barnoldswick Town who are a very ambitious club. I am also a time served carpenter which i have done for 10 years.I have always dreamed of playing abroad and travelling,hopefully this would enable me to combine the two and visit a beautiful country and play the game I love.
